Special Interest Group: Faculty & Educational Development: A SIG Hosted by the POD Network in Higher Education

Faculty and educational development professionals play many vital roles on our campuses: supporting instructors; implementing effective pedagogies, technologies, and learning spaces; aligning and assessing learning outcomes; assisting with curriculum development; implementing sustainable structures for teaching and learning and more. This SIG discussion will provide concrete ways to evaluate faculty and educational development needs on your campus - from starting up to sustaining and growing to revitalizing and adapting programs and services in light of new priorities. Hosted by the POD Network - the premier US professional organization advancing the research and practice of educational development in higher education since 1976 - this session will also offer an overview of resources to support your work. Administrators, faculty, and other campus educators are invited to join this discussion about how your campus can benefit from educational development.
